BIO

It all began for Everett Watson as a teenager when he was first exposed to the music of the legendary guitarist and Grammy-Award winning artist and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Peter Frampton.   Right from the start, Everett paid great attention to the guitar playing in songs and also the actual sound and tone of the guitars.  When Everett first heard Peter Frampton's hit album, “Frampton Comes Alive”, which was engineered by Chris Kimsey, Everett quickly became excited about music and decided that he wanted to become a guitarist.  Everett's parents were able to scrape up enough money to buy Everett his first guitar which was a used pre-CBS Fender Stratocaster.

Everett never imagined during his young years that he would one day be honored to work with the world famous and renowned producer and engineer Chris Kimsey, or record and release a song that featured the guitar work of Peter Frampton.

Chris Kimsey is based in the U.K. and has a massive discography that includes engineering and producer credits for The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, B.B. King, Peter Frampton, Duran Duran, INXS, Yes, and Bad Company, and many more.

In early 2021, Everett Watson released his first album “Politico” which was mastered and produced by Chris Kimsey.  When Chris Kimsey first heard the title track from the album, he shared the song “Politico” with Peter Frampton and asked Peter if he would like to play lead guitar on the song, and Peter agreed.  Chris Kimsey also produced Everett Watson’s second album “Equator” in the fall of 2021.  Chris Kimsey and Everett Watson teamed up again and co-produced Everett Watson’s third album “Hurricane” in early 2025, and Chris co-produced Everett Watson’s fourth album “Aeroplane” in the fall of 2025.
